The writing instruments for this set are handmade out of specially selected spalted beech wood. The beech comes from Belgium and originates from an old tree that fell over during a storm. This resulted in the beech having a spalted effect, which gives the wood extraordinary colors and figures. Spalted beech wood is a beautiful wood to work with; it’s easy to turn and allows a stunning finish on the wood.
This wooden pen gift set is an excellent personalized writer! We offer an extra option to engrave the pen(s) with a name, logo, quote, or anything you can think of. With the engraving option, this set becomes the perfect engraved gift! The unique figure and light colors of the beech work amazingly with the engraving; it makes the pens genuinely stand out!

-We sand our pens to a very smooth surface and finish with natural oil; by doing so, it’s a pleasant feeling when writing with it.
– Our fountain pen uses the standard small refills, and our writing pen uses high-quality cross refills.
– Because we work with natural materials, no two pens are alike. Slight variations in color and pattern make each piece unique.
