This resulted in the beech having a spalted effect, which gives the wood extraordinary colors and figures. By using some of this exceptional wood, we make every fountain pen genuinely unique and one of a kind! Spalted beech wood is a beautiful wood to work with; it’s easy to turn and allows a stunning finish on the wood.
