Our chestnut burl fountain pen is handcrafted from special German chestnut wood.We got the wood through our suppliers there, and it has extraordinary colors and figures. The wood comes from an ancient tree that passed away, luckily we received a small part from the burl of the tree. For this pen, we used the most exceptional pieces where the colors range from dark brown to almost yellow! This also guarantees that the pen is full of figures and unique textures. Chestnut is a lovely wood species to work with, and it has a mirror-like finish.
To make the pen more personal and unique, we offer you an extra option to engrave a name or quote in the pen. By engraving your fountain pen, it becomes the perfect personalized fountain pen for the special persons in your life. This makes the pen the ideal personalized wooden gift. -We sand our pens to a very smooth surface and finish with natural oil; by doing so, it’s a pleasant feeling when writing with it.
-The refills for our fountain pens are the standard little refills, and we also deliver standard an ink pump so you can use your ink.
– Because we work with natural materials, no two pens are alike. Slight variations in color and pattern make each piece unique.
-The length of our ink pen is 13 cm closed, or 5.1 inches and 15.5 cm long when open or 6.1 inches.
-Our fountain pens use a medium-sized nib.
