The birch fountain pen is handcrafted out of extraordinary Masur birch wood. The wood used for this pen comes from the Dalarna region in Sweden, where we got this gorgeous wood from locals. The tree was cut down 15 years ago, and the colors of the wood are beautiful and incredibly unique. For this pen, we used the most exceptional pieces where the colors range from super white to beautiful brown colors full of figure and texture. The birch is one of our favorite species to work with, due to it’s every time a surprise how the wood will come out! This masur birch fountain pen is a one of a kind product made from local Swedish lumber with a unique story behind it.
To make your birch fountain pen even more unique, we offer you an extra option to engrave a name or quote in the pen. By carving your pen, it also becomes a perfect sustainable wooden gift for the special persons in your life. The warm light colors of the birch, in combination with our engraving option, make this pen genuinely unique and a must-have!

-We sand our pens to a very smooth surface and finish with natural oil; by doing so, it’s a pleasant feeling when writing with it.
-The refills for our fountain pens are the standard little refills, and we also deliver standard an ink pump so you can use your ink.
– Because we work with natural materials, no two pens are alike. Slight variations in color and pattern make each piece unique.
-The length of our fountain is 13 cm closed, or 5.1 inches, and 15.5 cm long when open or 6.1 inches.
-Our fountain pens use a medium-sized nib.
